SanDisk announces the 128GB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I memory card

Want to carry 16 hours of HD video in a small card the size of a fingernail? Sure you do. At MWC, SanDisk has just introduced the 128GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I memory card. Besides those 16 hours of 1080 x 1920 video, one card will store 7500 songs, 3200 pictures and more than 125 apps. And the card is also an engineering wonder with each card featuring 16 memory die, each thinner than a strand of hair, vertically stacked.
 Also amazing is a look back to see how far we have come. The microSD format was launched in 2004 with 128MB of capacity. That means storage has risen 1000 times in less than 10 years. The new cards are designed for Android phones and tablets and are available in the states only from BestBuy.com and Amazon.com. The pricing for the 128GB card is $199.99.
