We came across a new Samsung smartphone while sifting through the
FCC's database this morning. The handset bears a model name SM-G310, and
from the looks of it, we're dealing with an entry-level Android 4.4.2
KitKat device.
As usual, the FCC is not giving us much in terms of technical
specs. The papers do confirm, however, that the phone has a 4-inch
screen and a 5.7Wh battery, which equals to 1500mAh. The Samsung SM-G310
has a width of 2.47 inches (62.7 mm) and a height of 4.76 inches (121
mm).
Further looking up the phone's model name online, we found that it
has passed through Zauba, described as a 4-inch mobile phone. The import
data confirms that the handset will come in both single- and dual-SIM
versions. Also, we've come across evidence suggesting that the Samsung
SM-G310 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat. And that is good news. With Android
4.4.2 on board, the Samsung SM-G310 is probably going to be running
pretty well. Allow us to remind you that this particular version of the
OS is made to run well on low-end hardware.
That's pretty much all we know about the Samsung SM-G310 so far.
Given its presence in the FCC's database, we're assuming that the phone
could get announced sooner than later.
