Samsung Galaxy K pictures leak as we get a glimpse at the S5 Zoom

Call it the Samsung Galaxy K, the Galaxy S5 Zoom, or the Galaxy K Zoom, we all know what we’re talking about: it’s the 2014 follow-up to last year’s Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. We’ve already heard about it, and it seems like a logical move for the South Koreans to follow last year’s pattern, which includes a camera with a phone, alongside the mini version of the flagship.
April 29 should be the day of its unveiling, if the reports and chit-chat are spot on, and a week before that, we’re seeing some leaked images of what the device might look like. As you’d expect, it is still a camera with a phone attached. The internals are expected to include a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED screen with 720p resolution, Samsung Exynos 5 processor, 2GB of RAM, 20-megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom and Xenon flash, as well as a two-megapixel front-facer. All would be powered by Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and will allegedly look like pictured above and below.
Though the device in the stills apparently has a snap cover in its back, we’re seeing a somewhat smaller, rounded footprint, with the expandable lens, the usual Samsung design, branding, and buttons from last year’s models.
