Gionee mobiles have introduced a new Smartphone in the market and this latest device is dubbed
as Gionee Elife S5.5. This phone is being touted as the world’s
slimmest Smartphone at the thickness of just 5.5 mm. It has been listed
on company’s China website at roughly around Rs. 23000.
Gionee Elife S5.5 features a 5 inch display screen with no word about its resolution count and display quality. Under the hood, this phone has been powered by a quad core CPU which is found to be ticking at a speed of 1.7 GHz. This processor is clubbed with a 2 GB RAM space for better processing. This Smartphone runs on the company’s Amigo UI on top of Android OS. For connectivity, users can make use of features like GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, 3G, USB 2.0 port, 3.5 mm audio jack and GPS etc.
Gionee Elife S5.5 includes a 13 MP snapper which is fitted on the rear side as well as a 5 MP camera on the front for video calls. A 2300 mAh battery is installed inside for running the phone for the entire day with a single charge. The availability of this device in India hasn’t been revealed.
