MWC app for Windows Phone now available

With the annual MWC a week away, those Windows Phone users who plan on attending, or like to make it feel as though they are attending, can install the official MWC app for the platform. The app debuted with last year's show and the latest version can be downloaded from the Windows Phone Store. Version 1.2.0.0 weighs in at 13MB.
The MWC app is chock full of information. You can see the list of speakers, the times they are scheduled to go on and the rooms in which they will speak. Exhibitors are also listed and a mapping system guides you to the right spot. You can also receive direct messages and with the NFC Badge app built-in, downloading the app is like having your badge with you wherever you go. There is also connections to social networks so you can share the experience of being at the show with others, or connect to others attending the show.
There are reports that the Android version of the MWC app is having some problems, especially with Wi-Fi connectivity. If you have a Windows Phone model, you don't have to worry about that. All you need to do is click on the sourcelink to download the app.
